Dronfield Heritage Trust exists to rescue, restore and maintain historic buildings. The first project was the restoration of Dronfield Hall Barn, a Grade II* listed late-Medieval dwelling built around 1430 by Lady Alice Deincourt for her steward.
The charity is responsible for the running of the building and the organisation of events, exhibitions, and fundraising. The company Dronfield Hall Barn Ltd handles the commercial activites including the coffeeshop, corporate hire, and hospitality.
The Board of Trustees is supported by a charity administrator, an events manager and a charity fundraiser. The Company is managed by three directors and supported by the General Manager and a team of coffeeshop staff.
Over 60 volunteers give their time and talents to stewarding, garden maintenance, and archive research.
Membership of the charity is free and open to anyone who wishes to support heritage preservation, education and community outreach.

Dronfield Heritage Trust is an independent charity led by the Board of Trustees, staff and around 60 volunteers. We work together to preserve our Grade II* medieval building and to continue our varied events programme to engage with different segments of our community. By becoming a Member you can support our small charity in our charitable aims.
